Paleo Meal Monday: Turkey Sliders with Zucchini Buns


1/2 lb ground turkey
1 diced garlic clove
1 tbsp diced red onion
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp Paprika
1/2 dash Cayenne
2 tbsp chopped fresh basil (or any other spices you’d like to add)
1 large zucchini
olive oil

Combine the ground meat, garlic, onion, salt, pepper, paprika, and optional cayenne.
Slice the zucchini into quarter inch thick circles. Drizzle olive oil over the zucchini and place them in the pan on medium to hight temperature. you want to grill them here. ( I like to use my past iron pan)
Form patties the same diameter as the zucchini slices. Turn the frying pan to medium heat and fry the patties until cooked thoroughly.
place one zucchini slice on plate, add turkey burger, then add toppings! Some great ones are: tomatoes, avocado, mushrooms, onions, mustard, etc. I like to use extra sharp white cheddar cheese and avocado on mine.
